Key Dates
Select your congregation to view Rooted session dates specific to your location.
You will receive your group roster at the first Rooted Leader Gathering. Please note that your roster will likely change within the first 2 weeks of Rooted due to drop-outs and add-ins. We hope that you will take time before Kick-Off to review and pray over the individuals in your group. We will also aim to confirm your meeting location during that first gathering but may not be able to do so until the Kick-Off night.
As a facilitator, you have the ability to view, manage and make updates to your group roster through the My Mariners portal, under Group Toolbox. For detailed instructions on how to update the status of your group members, please click here.
Confirmed drops/no-shows in your group should be marked “inactive” in your group. If someone is missing from your roster, or if you have any other questions regarding roster updates, please email us.
We ask facilitators to arrive by 5:30p as we gather to pray and talk through the flow of the evening. Facilitators then greet their group members in the Community Center, and begin to get to know each other! You’ll then hear our “kick-off-night” live talk before being sent off to your group space for your first group discussion.
Every Rooted session comes with a new set of incredible group serve opportunities. This session’s serve opportunities can be found using the the Rooted Serve Sign-Up portal. Just click on your group and filter by your congregation, view available serves, and register your group!
Great question! Our hope for every Rooted group is that they continue on in Biblical community, practicing spiritual rhythms together as a Life Group. In some cases, the Rooted Facilitator goes on with the group as the Life Group Leader. At other times the Rooted Facilitator is helping to identify that potential leader from within the group. If that’s you, we ask that you “recommend” that leader to our team by week 6 of Rooted so that we can then do the work of vetting, interviewing, and eventually training as the group takes their next steps. Additionally, we cover more of what to look for in a Life Group Leader in our video and in-person trainings.
Childcare is available for children from birth through 5th grade. The cost is $150 per child for the full 10-week session, or $120 per child if registering multiple children. Registration is found in the Rooted confirmation email.
