How Do I Know the Difference Between Good Therapy and Bad Therapy?
By Eric Geiger
Anchor Passage: Acts 17:11
There was a time people needed to hear “it is ok to not be ok,” so they would seek help and benefit from community and from therapy if they needed it.
We now live in what many have called a therapeutic culture. Content about mental health, self-diagnosis via social media, and “therapy speak” have all skyrocketed in recent years, leading some to declare we are living in an overcorrection. That not all therapy is good.
How do we know the difference between good therapy and bad therapy? What wisdom does the Scripture give us?
We are putting that question on the table this weekend.
