Life is simply better together. Each of us was created to be in relationship, not only with God, but with one another. When we gather with other believers and grow in our faith together, we experience life as God intended—in community.

In the context of an authentic and caring community, we can dig deeper into God’s Word with others, support and pray for one another, share our struggles and brokenness, serve together, and guide others to Jesus. If you’re searching for this type of community and are wondering where to start, we encourage you to check out our next session of Rooted, a 10-week small group experience designed to connect you to God, the church, and your purpose.

Together, in a group of 10-15 people from all walks of life, you’ll explore the Bible, engage in prayer and serve experiences, share stories, and practice rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life. These spiritual rhythms aren’t new, or something the church recently created; every one of them is found in Acts 2 where the early Church began. We will also provide you with a facilitator who is trained to come alongside your group to help you get the most out of the experience.  At the completion of your Rooted journey, you’ll have the opportunity to continue growing together in a Life Group, where you can go even deeper in community with your fellow Rooted graduates.

Thousands of people have been through Rooted at Mariners and other churches around the world and every Rooted session we hear stories of amazing transformation, healing, and growth. If you’ve never done Rooted, now is the time! Registration is closing soon. Our Spring Session, with both in-person and online groups available, begins Apr 27. If you have done Rooted, sign up to facilitate and help create a great Rooted experience for others! We will equip you with everything you need to lead well.

Rally the incredible women in your life, and invite them to join us for an unforgettable night with Mariners Women and Christine Caine this Wednesday, Apr 21 at Mariners Irvine!

Throughout history, there have been women brave enough and bold enough to launch movements that transformed the world. Together, we’ll be empowered and unleashed to change our cities, neighborhoods, workplaces, and homes with the passionate love of Jesus.

This past weekend, we had a photoshoot with several of our very own Mariners Women in preparation for the big event. Each woman so beautifully and uniquely represented what it means to be Mariners Women who are loved by Jesus and living for Him. There’s so much energy and excitement growing for what God is doing in the lives of the women of our church, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

We hope you’ll join us for this amazing night filled with worship, inspiration, community, and fun. You won’t want to miss it!

We had an incredible time celebrating Easter at Mariners with you! It was so special to gather together to worship and praise Jesus, our King who conquered the grave. The best news is that the celebration never ends. We get to celebrate Easter every day because Jesus is alive! His victory over death means we get to experience new life with Him forever.

We invite you to join us this weekend as we begin a brand new teaching series, Red Letter Invitations. The words of Jesus have been read for generations. In many Bibles, these words are printed in red. Look closer at these timeless red letters, and you’ll discover that they are personal invitations from Jesus to YOU, inviting you into the abundant life He has for you.

Gather with us online or in person this weekend to take a closer look at the red letters of Scripture and the greatest invitations ever given. Check out our series page Red Letter Invitations to find out more and to download a free digital resource to follow along with us each week as we dive into these personal invitations from Jesus.

We believe the journey of life transformation begins the moment someone decides to follow Jesus and trust Him with their lives. We also believe it’s the first of many courageous steps of faith we take throughout this life-long journey of following Jesus.

For many of you, that first step of faith was taken at a weekend worship service, maybe even here at Mariners HB, when you said “I Believe” and committed your life to Jesus. That’s why our services are intentionally designed to provide meaningful environments for people to encounter Jesus and respond to His grace.

Every weekend, we welcome people from all walks of life to worship with us, hear God’s Word, and find their place in the family of God. We also intentionally create clear opportunities for every person to take their next courageous step of faith.

Next Step is a great opportunity for you to explore your next step at Mariners HB, whether you’re new to following Jesus, or if you’ve been on this journey of faith for a long time. Join us this Sunday, Apr 11 after the 11:30a service in the lobby for a 60-minute experience and live conversation with our pastors to find your place in the bigger story of how God is working in and through you!

One thing is clear—hope is alive! You can see it in the faces of people sharing their powerful stories of life change, you can hear it in the voices of God’s people lifting their voices in worship, and last weekend you could feel hope surrounding our church as people shared their Rooted cardboard testimonies and experienced baptism.

The best part? This is only the beginning! In just a few days, we will gather together at Mariners HB to celebrate Easter and the hope of the Resurrection. On Good Friday, we will come together to remember Jesus’ death. Then on Easter, we will worship together and praise God because death is not the end of the story. Because Jesus is alive, hope is alive and we have a reason to celebrate!

Easter at Mariners HB begins on Good Friday and will continue all weekend long. We hope you’ll join us as we gather together to remember and rejoice in the hope and promise of the Resurrection. Invite your friends and neighbors to come and hear the incredible good news of Easter that God is powerful enough to call us out of death into new life.
