Meet Our Pastor
Gavin Lamming is our lead pastor of our future congregation in San Clemente. Gavin has served in various leadership capacities in the local church for more than a decade, most recently overseeing the young adult ministry of a local Orange County church. Gavin is passionate about creating inspiring environments for people to hear and respond to the good news of Jesus and looks forward to serving the people of San Clemente, the area he grew up in and loves for its warm community, beautiful beaches, and great food. Gavin and his wife Nicole and son Jackson are excited to begin serving this wonderful community.

Finding lasting community at Mariners begins with Rooted.
Rooted is a 10-week small group experience designed to connect you to God, the church, and your purpose. Together with others from all walks of life, you’ll explore the Bible, engage in prayer and serve experiences, share stories, and practice rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life. Register now for our Winter session beginning the week of Jan 25!

New series begins Jan 1, 3 & 4
A loving God—yet conquests and genocides in the Bible? What happens 60 seconds after you die? When should Christians disobey the government? What about those crazy spiritual gifts? Borders and immigration: Why do some Christians have different views? God welcomes us with our questions and meets us with His grace and truth. Join us for our series, On the Table, as we unpack new pressing questions about life, faith, and God.

Every year at Mariners our church leadership prayerfully chooses an Annual Read to guide our church in the new year. In 2026, we’ll be reading Tozer on the Son of God by A.W. Tozer, a daily devotional to help us grow in our understanding of Jesus’ character, His grace, and His work for us! You can purchase your copy online from the Mariners Bookstore.
