After a lifetime of good health, Janice was diagnosed with lung cancer. Though she felt afraid about what the future held, she put her trust in God. She prayed for the tumor to be small, to not need chemotherapy, and for the cancer to go away. But even as her treatment progressed and things didn’t go how she had prayed, Janice felt peace, knowing God was with her.
Her church family at Mariners surrounded her with support and prayer, and after a successful surgery, Janice received the news that the cancer had been fully removed. Through it all, she had the opportunity to share with others about what God had done for her, and about the incredible peace He had provided throughout her treatment.
