Studio Construction Update

Construction on the masonry wall outside the new studio is complete, and structural steel installation has begun on the second floor and mezzanine level within the Worship Center.

We’re looking forward to serving our congregations and online community with content produced in this new studio. Our Mariners online community has grown to reach across 4,500 cities, all 50 states, and more than 200 countries and territories–and just this Christmas, we had over 27,000 people join us at our online Christmas at Mariners services.

Check out this time-lapse video of the last six months of construction on the studio by clicking the video below!

Lower Lawn Construction Update

The construction of our future outdoor worship space on the Lower Lawn has been moving ahead, with the completed installation of all underground columns and aboveground shade structure columns. Two 80 ft, 21,000 lb beams have been put in place for the shade structure as well.

As our Mariners family continues to grow, we pray that this outdoor worship space will provide an intentional environment for people to draw closer to Jesus.

Global Update

The construction of the Leadership Management and Development Center is moving quickly. When complete, this center will provide training and resources for future church planters in South Asia, supporting them as they share the good news of Jesus. While construction on the building is still in progress, church planters are already meeting with our partners at another temporary location to receive training.

Additionally, in the past year, our partners at City to City conducted 10 training courses, reaching over 550 church planters in over 88 cities across 20 states.

We’re blessed to be a part of supporting our global family, and we’re excited to see how God will continue to work through our partners!

Studio Expansion & The Worship Center

The future studio project is underway! This weekend, you may notice a new, but temporary, wall inside the Worship Center that will protect the room from construction dust and debris. As a result, the side LED screens were temporarily removed, but they will return in a few weeks. There will be no disruption to weekend services and we’re hoping you’ll join us this weekend!

Lower Lawn Project Underway!

On Tuesday, May 2nd, we celebrated the groundbreaking of the Multiply campaign with Eric, our lead pastors, and our elders. We hope you will join us in prayer over this exciting work, over the team carrying out the work, over the process, and for the people we will impact using these facilities.

Multiply Fencing

You may have noticed new fencing around parts of Mariners Irvine. These fences display your generosity at work. As many of you know, last year we launched Multiply, a campaign with four strategic initiatives. One of these initiatives was to expand and enhance Mariners Irvine, serving you by building more places to worship and grow as well as a new studio to produce the incredible digital content you see from our teams every week.

Over the next several months, you may be re-routed from your typical path to check in your kids, go to your Bible study, or reach the Worship Center, and we want you to think of two things every time that happens. First, let it be a reminder of how grateful we are for you. Our church has a legacy of selflessly serving our community and reaching those who don’t yet know the love of Jesus.

Second, we hope it will remind you to pray. Pray for Mariners and the plans God has shown us for how we can reach and serve our cities. And if you want to be a part of what God is doing through Multiply, visit our website to learn more and get involved.

We’re so grateful for you, Mariners Church!
