A six week course to equip Jesus followers to live at our best when the world is at its worst. Wednesday | 7-8:30p | Oct 2 - Nov 6 in the Upper Room at Mariners Irvine

Join us for a six-week course where we will be equipped as Jesus followers to live at our best during increasing times of division and hostility. Together we’ll discover how the radical message of Jesus brings us into truth, unity and a more compelling way to live in our contentious and chaotic age.

Week 1, Oct 2: What Do We Believe? Understanding How and Why We Forge Our Worldviews

Week 2, Oct 9: What Is Our Purpose? Embracing Our Identity as Kingdom Ambassadors

Week 3, Oct 16: How Do We See Others? Developing a Winsome Love for People

Week 4, Oct 23: How Do We Respond to Wrongs? Separating Righteous Anger from Worldly Outrage

Week 5, Oct 30: How Do We Engage the World? Aligning Our Online Life with Gospel Mission

Week 6, Nov 6: How Do We Engage Our Community? Recognizing the Power of Thinking Locally

Ed Stetzer, Ph.D., is the Dean of Talbot School of Theology at Biola University, and he serves as the Scholar in Residence and one of the Teaching Pastors at Mariners Church. Ed holds two master’s degrees, two doctorates, and has written hundreds of articles and a dozen books. He has dedicated much of his adult life to serving the local church and has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches as well as trained pastors and church planters on six continents. Ed, his wife Donna, and their three daughters relocated to Southern California from Illinois to join the Mariners team in 2023.
