We all have questions. From the reality of suffering to the disentanglement of cultural Christianity from confident faith, what should our posture be as we wrestle through our doubts and engage others in meaningful conversations?

Join us for this panel-driven discussion hosted by our Irvine Discipleship Pastor, John Thomas, as we learn how tough questions can actually bring us closer to Jesus—not further from Him, following our On The Table weekend message, The Path of Deconstruction: What Do I Do With My Doubts.  The cost of your registration ($10 per person) will go towards lunch.

Date: Sunday, February 11 • 12:45p - 2p (Don't worry, you will be home in time for the Super Bowl!!)

Childcare Available

Panel discussion will include:

Susan Lim, PhD, UCLA, is a historian and author. Her latest book, Light of the Word, weaves both history and personal stories to show the veracity of Scripture. She is passionate about God, family, friends, good food, and napping. She loves to learn and teach when she's not busy spending time with her husband, Brian, and their two children.

Richard Park, PhD, is Associate Professor of Theology at Vanguard University where he also leads the University Honors Program. Born and raised in southern California, Park has addressed university and church audiences around the world, including Australia, Canada, England, India, and the Philippines as well as throughout the United States. Dr. Park completed his undergraduate work at UC Berkeley, two masters degrees at Biola University, and his doctorate in theology at the University of Oxford. He lives with his wife Christine and his son Rylen in Orange County, California.

Allison Crawford, Outreach Operations at Mariners Church. Discovered Jesus in a local church through the power of invitation and felt a clear call from God to pursue vocational ministry at the age of seventeen. Allison is a graduate of Hope International University where she studied Intercultural Studies and developed a passion for seeing more of God's character in every cultural context around the world. She is grateful to partner with her husband, Paul, on the adventure of raising two young toddlers.
