Welcome to EQUIP 2024, our annual night of team-building and training for every volunteer team across every congregation!
This gathering is designed for practical ministry training for our volunteer teams as we prepare for the next ministry year. We’ve packed this night with a fun pre-event (food trucks, lawn games, and good times!),
an opening session with our Senior Pastor Eric Geiger, and team breakouts.

- Display biblical hospitality while interacting with families
- Leading Big: What it means to be a coach (Invitation Only)
- Explain the difference between a Coach and a Leader
- Understand and use the Care Structure to identify people you are caring for
- Communicate the training roadmap and regular meetings rhythms to their leaders
- Understand the specific needs of a family with special needs and how it impacts their ability to be part of a church community
- Learn practical ways to support a family at church (e.g. weekend Buddy, Parents Day Out, Love WIthout Limits, Exceptional Socials, etc.)
- Learn practical ways to support a family during the week to help them belong
- Understand who the Quartet of the Vulnerable is
- Apply your understanding of the Quartet of the Vulnerable to the ministries in which you serve
- Understand the Seek the Good campaign and be prepared to welcome new volunteers
- Understand the vision of regeneration and have a next step to learning more at our Celebration Night (9/30)
- Implement tools, resources, and guidelines to build teams and run your ministry well
- Understand the structure and values of Care and Recovery ministries to better serve participants
- Understand the whole of the ministry and our Loop strategy across all sections of the ministry
- Understand how to drive couples to their next step and learn how to extrapolate the individual or couple’s needs.

- Understand the Why – ministry overview based on the church’s strategy, data, and a clear understanding of our discipleship pathway
