As a church, our hearts are burdened for those impacted by the fires in Los Angeles County. Many of us know people who have lost everything, people who have been evacuated, and people who are broken-hearted. We know our God is close to the broken-hearted (Psalm 34:18), and we want to be close to those in pain too.
Here is what we are doing and are going to do as a community:
Immediate response: Because of your generosity, we are already on the ground with our partner Convoy of Hope distributing supplies such as food, water, and clothing to those who are in need.
Providing food and clothing to those in need: Through our existing Food Pantries and Thrift Store, we are well positioned to provide essential resources. You can donate items at drop off locations at every Mariners congregation:
Mariners Irvine Drop-Off Hours:
Mon-Fri: 9a-3p
Sat: 8a-7p
Sun: 7a-4p
Other Mariners Congregation Drop-Off Hours:
