Each year, our Directional Elders and wives prayerfully consider and choose the church verse for the upcoming ministry year. And this year, God led the leaders of our church to Isaiah 33:6: The LORD will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure.
We pray that as we look back at what the Lord has done through Mariners Church in this upcoming season, we’ll see the influence of this verse at the center. He is our foundation upon which we faithfully conduct ministry, the joy of our salvation, and the source of all wisdom. May this verse remind us that it’s through the awe and fear of the Lord that we can truly serve Him and fearlessly change the world.
