Mariners Church is a community of ordinary people from all walks of life courageously trusting Him to do the extraordinary. Simply put, we’re trusting Him to do what we can’t – heal, transform, renew, forgive, provide and sustain. Through our stories, He is glorified, lives are changed and our communities are impacted. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, Mariners welcomes you.
We encourage you to check out a weekend experience at one of our churches. Each experience is a unique expression of the mission and values of Mariners. God is moving in our church community, creating dreams and calling people into action. We’d love for you to be part of it!
Inspire People to Follow Jesus and Fearlessly Change the World.
We believe it is vital to experience Jesus in community, so that’s why we gather each weekend to celebrate Him in our churches around the county. All of our weekend experiences are designed with one idea in mind–to draw you closer to God. Whether through music, story, video or other media, teaching, or response time, we strive to create space for life-changing encounters with Him.
Rooted provides the opportunity to connect with God, the church community and your purpose in unexpected life-changing ways. Think of Rooted as a personal journey – a journey with the goal of deepening your connection with God, His Church, and your purpose in the big, epic story He is writing through human history. Rooted is a catalyst for life-change. Rooted provokes questions and conversations and offers beyond-what-is-comfortable group experiences designed to give you a glimpse of your story in God’s story.
Life is meant to be lived in community, not alone. Through Life Groups, you have the opportunity to extend your Rooted experience and connect with others (in a group of 10-15 people) experiencing life together, growing in authentic relationship with each other and God, and impacting the world with the love of Jesus.
God has called us to server those in need.
Outreach Ministries is committed to doing ministry the way Jesus did, and having the greatest Kingdom impact possible. We aim to mobilize the Whole church, with the power of the Whole gospel and change the Whole world.
With an understanding of true poverty, we facilitate life change through relationship-based ministry with a strategic focus on servant leadership.
Senior Pastor | Kenton Beshore
Kenton Beshore has served as senior pastor since 1984. Mariners has grown from 250 to over 13,000 people who courageously follow Jesus, serve the community and change culture. His education includes a MA from Talbot Seminary and the Institute of London where he studied with Dr. John Stott. Kenton loves the privilege of being a pastor. His greatest joy is being with people at defining moments of their lives. He teaches God’s Word by filtering it through his life and applying it in practical ways.
