On this Faith Adventure we will have the opportunity to experience the vision of ARM and serve within many of their ministries, including:
Loving Hearts Babies Home A refuge for abandoned babies that provides holistic care that ensures a safe place to live, medical and nutritional care, growth monitoring in a Christian environment, and reintegration with their family or other loving caregivers. This is also very special as Paul and Kathy Neff, from Mariners, helped to catalyze this dream of our partner in 2009. We will spend time at home with the kids and staff.
Bethany Village A unique place where abandoned and orphaned children live in family-style homes. Caretakers in each home nurture and care for the children, while providing them with a loving environment until they are reunited with family members or placed in permanent homes. We will have a chance to visit this beautiful place and spend time with the children and staff.
Africa Renewal University AFRU is committed to developing a new generation of Christian leaders whose lives are transformed by rigorous study of Scripture, impassioned love for God, and faith service to the nations as the body of Christ. It was founded based on Africa’s great need for Christian leaders to rise up to share the compassion of Christ and the gospel of hope in a society that is desperately longing for transformation. Today, there are students from 45 different tribes in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Sudan, Eritrea, and Kenya who are being equipped as leaders in ministry and community development.
Wentz Medical Center Christ-centered healthcare system empowering individuals and communities to attain and sustain a higher quality of life through holistic care. It was started in 2005 and continues to offer diagnostic treatment, basic surgical procedures, and community health programs.
Father’s Heart Mobility FHM desires to raise the esteem and capability among people with disabilities in Uganda through the church. They exist to share the love of God with people with disabilities to empower them with their true value and potential. In partnership with Wentz medical and Free Wheelchair Mission, our team will have the opportunity to do a wheelchair distribution to help FHM with their desire to aid the mobility of people with disabilities to maximize their potential.
Soroti Community Church Pastor Julius Eribu has planted over 1,000 churches in the region of Soroti. Reaching the region for the gospel in amazing ways. We partner alongside ARM to sponsor children through their education, train and care for pastors, and bring medical clinics to Soroti.
