Help us welcome our refugee neighbors for a special Christmas celebration as we share the hope of the Gospel and host a Christmas shop for parents to choose gifts for their children. This serve event is family friendly for 11 years and older.
SHIFT ONE: 8a-12p
SHIFT TWO: 1p-5p
Family Friendly | Ages 11+
Serve refugee families by running an interactive Christmas party that engages families in the fun and celebration of the Christmas story. This event will serve refugee families who have arrived in Orange County over the last five years. We’ll be providing games and activities that engage kids in the Christmas story. We will also engage adults by facilitating intentional conversations around the significance of the Christmas story on a simple level so they can practice english conversations. All of the parents will have the opportunity to visit our Christmas shop to choose a free gift for their children.
Roles will include:
- Running activities and games for children
- Having english, Gospel-centered conversations with Adults
- Organizing, wrapping, and helping in the Christmas shop
