Welcome to MOPS!
Here at MOPS, we are on a mission to celebrate motherhood.
We build circles of women who love each other like family, because being a mom is beautiful and hard, and finding hope in the midst of colic and no sleep is life-giving. MOPS/MOMSnext are ways to connect with women who have your back, dry your tears and call you into new adventures.
Our MOPS programs are for all moms from pregnancy through the elementary years.
- MOPS is for moms of little ones: pregnancy through preschool/age 5
- MOMSnext is for moms of elementary kids: K – 5th grade
We are a movement of women who are practicing becoming more brave, kind and honest. Together, because together is always better.
This is motherhood, and together we can change the world in all the best ways. Join us!

What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean kiddos from birth through kindergarten. We know it’s a little confusing so let’s just stick with “MOPS.”
We believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms and meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying alongside one another.
We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world.
Who can be in MOPS?
MOPS is open for ALL mothers of children from the womb through kindergarten (5 or 6 years old).
What is MOMSnext?
Mariners MOMSnext is for mothers of elementary age kids (age 5 to 5th grade). MOMSnext includes coffee, breakfast, speakers/videos and discussion with MOMSnext moms on topics of interest to the elementary years. It’s like MOPS, but the conversation is no longer about baby and preschooler issues. We have BIG things to talk about, because the elementary years are tough to navigate alone.
Who can be in MOMSnext?
MOMSnext is open for ALL mothers of elementary children, grades K-5.
How do I choose between MOPS and MOMSnext?
If you have an elementary child(ren) and a child(ren) under 5, you can choose which group is right for you. MOPS speakers address topics relevant to ages 0-5, MOMSnext speakers address issues common to the elementary years. Both groups are fabulous – choose the stage where you would like to learn, meet other moms, and engage in conversation.
What happens at a MOPS/MOMSnext meeting?
MOPS/MOMSnext meetings include hot coffee, an amazing hot breakfast, friendship, a topical speaker, discussion group time with the same group of women each week, and sometimes a chance to get crafty. MOPS is a chance for you to have time for yourself. Time to think, to talk (without interruption!), to laugh with new friends and to realize you’re not alone on this journey called motherhood and this season of life with young children.
Mariners Mom fees include MOPS International annual membership ($31.95 value). You get a fun kit in the mail, The MOPS Magazine, and weekly email encouragement from MOPS International. As a MOPS mom, you are a part of something bigger than you even realize. Get all the details here: mops.org/get-started/membership
What do my children do?
Babies get cuddled and loved on. Toddlers and pre-schoolers have a chance to be creative, play, listen to stories and songs, visit the enclosed playground, have a snack, and make new friends.
Can my newborn stay with me?
Babies under 5 months of age are welcome to join their moms upstairs. All children 5 months and older must be registered and checked into MOPS Kids.
What is the theme this year?
Our theme this year is “Find Your Fire.”
Fire is a tool utilized only by human beings. Since the beginning of time, humans have congregated around its warmth for light, protection and company. Every other creature on the planet fears fire, but we’ve been given the unique ability to harness it, to use its power to improve our lives. Not only that, but poets and artists have used fire to describe the God-given spark that wakes us up in the morning and fuels our purpose and passion. Whatever the context, fire is not to be ignored.
Sisters, this is a year we will tend the fire in our hearts.
We will stop inhaling the fumes of our mistakes that tell us we are not enough, not a good enough mom, not pretty enough, not brave enough, not smart enough, not wealthy enough. Instead, we will choose to tend our God-given fire. We will love our children with an all-consuming love and use our words to warm the world. We will hold the torch up high and shed light on what matters most.
When our homes feel cold, we’ll light a fire.
When a friend has lost her spark, we’ll fan her flame. When the world seems dark, we will be an ember of hope. In order to do this we will:
LIVE EXPECTANTLY: Think about what could go right.
SURRENDER DARINGLY: Let things go.
BREATHE FREELY: Let yourself be loved.
Let’s burn bright this year, Sisters.
How much does it cost?
See the registration link for more information.
What if I need a refund?
Unfortunately refunds cannot be issued after the 2nd meeting. If a refund is needed, please contact Emily [email protected] as soon as possible so that your spot can be opened for another mom and her children. Thank you!
What happens if there is a waitlist?
Occasionally, we reach the maximum capacity for childcare. We strive to maintain a healthy child to childcare worker ratio. As spots become available, we will contact you and move you off the waitlist. We strive to have a seat for every mom, so register early to avoid the waitlist. If you don’t need childcare, email [email protected] and we can likely get you registered.
