Series Groups

Series Groups @ Mariners

As a church, we believe people become all God intends them to be in circles, not rows. Rooted is our primary on-ramp into circles of community, but Series Groups provide another way for people to get connected who missed Rooted or are not presently in a Life Group.

Series Groups are formed around a particular all-church initiative, teaching series and/or curriculum. This fall, we will be going through the story of Joshua. Series Groups meet on campus where we incubate the new Life Group and commission the group to become a Life Group.

We launch on Thu, Sep 13 • 6:30-8:30p in the Community Center
Cost: $10 per person
Childcare available: $10 per child

Existing and Open Life Groups will be encouraged to participate in the Series Group curriculum.

Series Groups Will:

  • Usually be offered 1 or more times a year
  • Usually consist of 8-12 people
  • Will meet on campus or off campus
  • Ideally become an off-campus Life Group beyond the completion of the series
  • Help people get connected with the expectation that they attend the next session of Rooted (if they have never gone through Rooted before)
