First Impressions Matter
When you’re checking something out for the first time it helps to know what to expect.
So here are a few tips to make your first experience an amazing one:
There’s nothing worse than getting somewhere and waiting 20 minutes to find a parking place. Luckily, at Mariners Ocean Hills, we have plenty of parking. We are located about 100 yards off of Del Obispo, next to a large commercial nursery. We used to be called Ocean Hills Community Church, so you may see that on your map when you search for us.
When you arrive, feel free to park where you feel comfortable. But if you have kids – you might want to park around back on the left side which is closer to Port Mariners.
In Port Mariners we have programs for kids, infant through 5th grade:
- First floor: Infants to 1st grade
- Second floor: 2nd grade to 5th grade
There are friendly volunteers in each room that will help you get checked in for your first visit.
Worship With Us
There are three convenient entrances to our Worship Center. The main entrance is located at the front of the building, across from the playground. Once inside the Worship Center, you’ll receive a bulletin, giving an overview of what to expect during the service. The worship service lasts about an hour and 15 minutes and includes singing, announcements, teaching and a response time.
Feel free to participate as little or as much as you like. God speaks to us individually and often times our response will naturally flow out of our connection with Him. Prayer is available from our prayer team after the service, in the front of the room. We don’t take an offering, but offering boxes are available at the exits if you would like to bring a gift to the Lord. We also provide online giving for your convenience.
Hang Out On the Patio
We encourage you to hang out on the patio after the service. Enjoy a donut or complimentary coffee or lattes from our latte cart while the kids play on the play ground. Helpful staff and volunteers will be available to answer any questions you might have. Or, you can stop by the Welcome Center where you can meet some of our pastors, staff and volunteers.
