Midweek at Mariners takes place throughout the year on Wednesday nights with breaks during December and the summer months.
While all campuses may run the same courses, they will vary in frequency and day/time.
There sure is. From JHM and HSM Life Groups to kids programming and childcare, we’ve got your family covered. Please check out our Kids and Youth pages to learn more.
Nope. Anyone can join a course at Midweek. Many of the courses will place you in a group when you sign up while some courses you may attend by yourself.
Absolutely! While Midweek should be seen as supplemental to your normal Life Group rhythm, we encourage Life Groups to join us for a course or two throughout the year.
Some, but not all have an online option. Read through each course description to learn what’s available.
Most of our courses will close after their second week, but don’t worry— there’s a good chance that the course will be available again soon.

Theology and Mission of God
Theology and the Mission of God is a group-discipleship experience designed to lead people out of their comfort zones and into a deeper spiritual maturity through the study and application of core doctrines for the global Church. – Begins Oct 5
The Story of God
During the Story of God, you’ll discover there is no greater hero, no greater conflict, no greater rescue, and no greater ending than what you’ll find in the unfolding story of God. – Begins April 23
The Image of God
Exploring the theological concept of the Imago Dei, the image of God, and our responsibility to care for our neighbors, the vulnerable, and creation. – Begins February 11

Be equipped to engage in thoughtful conversations with others about difficult questions, develop a greater understanding of the good reasons for belief, and form a deeper, richer faith.

Emotionally Healthy Spirituality
In this eight-week course, you will directly address the reality that emotional maturity and spiritual maturity are inseparable. It will equip you to develop a personal, first-hand relationship with Jesus by incorporating stillness, silence, and Scripture as daily life rhythms. – Begins August 10
Emotionally Healthy Relationships
If you have people in your life, you have relationships, and we all need practical tools to actually live out the Bible’s teaching to love well. This nine-week course equips you with 8 practical skills to love others well as mature followers of Jesus.

The Marriage Course
The Marriage Course is a seven-week course for couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationship. Some couples do the course to intentionally invest in their relationship, while others are looking to address more specific challenges. Either way, the course offers essential tools and practical ideas to help you build a relationship that lasts a lifetime. Every session includes dinner, a practical talk, and a time for discussion between just you and your partner. Begins August 17 in the Upper Room.

The Pre-Marriage Course
The Pre-Marriage Course is a series of five sessions to help couples who are seriously dating, engaged, or exploring the possibility of marriage build strong foundations for their future together. Just like The Marriage Course, The Pre-Marriage Course includes dinner, a practical talk, and a time for discussion between just you and your partner. Begins August 31 in the Mariners Cafe.

Intentional Parenting
Every parent has a dream for their children. Without a plan, parents usually default to quick-fix parenting. Taught live by Doug and Cath Fields, this six-week course will equip you with practical tools to become an exceptional parent in a quick-fix world. Begins January 11

How We Love
How We Love is an in-depth, group-oriented course designed around video content, discussion, and skill-building. The How We Love Course will help you understand your love style in your marriage or dating relationship, or discover what went wrong in your previous relationships so that you don’t repeat the same patterns.
