The Mariners Recovery Ministry is a place where the redemption of the Cross and the power of the 12 step model can create transformations in every area of life, ultimately leading to wholeness and wellbeing. Our MRM Program will contain a wide variety of both Christian Recovery Groups and traditional Anonymous 12-step meetings. No registration required, all are welcome to attend.

Recovery Groups are offered during the Mariners Recovery Ministry on Monday nights and cover the following topics:

The Bridge : An Introduction to the 12 steps
Ministry Center room 205 7pm – 8pm
Learn about the phrase “work the steps”. Gain a clearer picture of the God who is for us, so that we can more effectively surrender to His healing path and experience victory over the parts of our lives that feel unmanageable.

Traditional anonymous 12 step group: A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. Consider attending if you let other people’s behaviors affect you and if you try to affect them with behaviors like obsessing, controlling, heated emotions, and care-taking to an exhausting degree. A Christ-centered group for women dealing with the trauma of sexual addiction in their marriage or relationship. Consider attending if your partner has engaged in or is attempting to overcome a form of extra-marital sexual behavior—pornography, affairs, homosexuality, internet misuse or seeking out prostitutes, etc. Small group environment. Registration required: To register call Karene at 714.290.6388
