Mariners Church Huntington Beach is a community of ordinary people learning what it looks like to follow Jesus. We want you to be a part of this authentic community. Join us for our weekend experience each Sunday at 9a, 11a, or 7p.
Here’s what you can expect:
Parking is in the parking garage only, located behind the church. Parking is only available on levels two and above.
When driving east on Warner Avenue, please take a right on Ash Street to keep the first level from being congested.
When exiting the parking garage, please (if possible) exit onto Warner Avenue through the first level.
Follow the signage and directives from the parking volunteers to point you in the right direction.
Thanks for helping make Sunday an enjoyable experience for everyone!
In Mariners Kids our hope is to build spiritually strong, Christ-centered families and equip them to become servant leaders in our community. Mariners Kids is:
- Safe: Our ministry must be physically and emotionally safe
- Biblically Relevant: We want to reach today’s kids with real-life application
- Creative: We want the Bible to come to life to children
- Relationships: We want kids to be intentionally shepherded by loving volunteers
- Fun: We want kids to come back at every opportunity
With music, drama, and storytelling, kids learn about God’s love every week. Our kid’s church service runs at the same time as the morning adult services. With programs for all ages, each child is taught in a loving environment.
WHEN & WHERE
Mariners Kids is offered in our main building during every Sunday morning service.
- Sundays at 9 & 11a
We Love Moms & Dads
We provide resources so you can enjoy the service without worry. Our computerized check in/check out saves time, increase classroom security and provide easy accessibility to families attending our church. Parents with infants have the option of watching the service from our “new parent” room in the Worship Center, which includes additional private space for nursing mothers.
We Love Volunteers
Gifted and caring volunteers bring the message of Jesus to life every weekend while connecting with others as they serve. Each volunteer has completed an application and background check (adults only), reviewed our safety policies and received age-specific training. This process ensures your child will experience the best possible care in a safe, child-friendly environment.
Adults and students are placed as volunteers based on gifts and availability. They serve passionately to make a difference in the lives of our kids. We also invite parents to serve in our children’s ministry because we believe it’s important for parents to model serving and invest in the lives of the future generation.
In Student Ministries we want to reach out to all students in, and around, Huntington Beach. We will help students to develop their own authentic faith in Jesus and equip students to fearlessly change the world. We do this through our Weekend Experience, Life Groups, and serve opportunities.
Junior High (JHM) Students meet on Sunday mornings during our 9 & 11a services in the Youth & Community Center.
High School (HSM) Students are welcome to attend any of the Sunday services and highly encourage them to attend the 7p service together.
Worship With Us
Mariners Huntington Beach meets in the Theater at the Huntington Beach Central Library. We have plenty of signage and directional flags to get you to the entrance of the Library. Once inside the building, you’ll receive a bulletin, giving an overview of what to expect during the service. The worship service lasts about an hour and includes singing, announcements, teaching and a response time.
Feel free to participate as little or as much as you like. God speaks to us individually and often times our response will naturally flow out of our connection with Him. Prayer is available from our prayer team after the service in the overflow room, located directly across from the first double door entrance of the Theater. We don’t pass a plate for offering. Instead, offering boxes are available at the exits if you would like to bring a gift to the Lord. We also provide online giving for your convenience.
We encourage you to hang out in the lobby after the service where you can be in community. You’ll have the chance to meet our pastors, staff and volunteers while you enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee. Helpful staff and volunteers located at our Welcome Center will be available to answer any questions you might have.
