Chapel Weddings

Wedding reservations can be made up to 12 months prior. Start time options are as follows:

  • Fridays: Couples may choose any start time
  • Saturdays:
    • 10am (8am-12pm reservation time)
    • 2pm (12-4pm reservation time)

Please note the guidelines for couples before making a reservation:

  • Currently attend Mariners Church
  • Completed Mariners Church Relationship Foundations Premarital Training
  • Ceremony will be performed by a Mariners Church Pastor

Chapel Fee

All weddings in the Chapel are $2500 with a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 due at booking. The remaining balance of $1,500 due 30 days prior to wedding date. This amount includes an Audio/Visual Technician, the Pastor and a Mariners Church Coordinator. Each reservation is a 4-hour period of time.

Chapel Set Up

The Chapel will seat up to 260 in chairs not pews. The aisle is 8 ft wide and 78 feet long from interior doors to altar. The following equipment is included: 2 candelabras, 2 artist easels, 2 large tables, 3 small tables, a kneeling bench, and aisle stands. There is a baby grand piano and cross on the stage that do not get removed.

All rehearsals are scheduled for the Thursday evening prior to wedding and are allotted a one-hour maximum. Church Coordinator and A/V Technician will attend.


Reception facilities fee is $250. All receptions held on campus must use the Mariners Church Café Catering Company. For information, contact Manny Ochoa at [email protected]. Alcohol (including wine or champagne for toasts) is not allowed on campus. Receptions may not take place in the Upper Room during the Saturday evening service. Receptions include up to 30 – 60 inch round tables, 300 chairs, and 15 – 8ft rectangular tables for food service. Audio/visual Tech or equipment are NOT provided. Catering, decorating, etc. are additional fees. Your reservation is for the Upper Room only. It does not include the Worship Center Foyer or Sanctuary and it is possible that other events will be held in those spaces during your reception. We cannot guarantee that your wedding/reception will be the only event happening at any particular time.

Officiating Pastors/Premarital Counseling

Marriages held at Mariners Church must be performed by one of our Mariners Church pastors.  Pastor Kenton Beshore, Eric Geiger and Doug Fields do not perform wedding ceremonies.

It is required for each couple to attend Relationship Foundations (pre-marital class). For more information on Relationship Foundations classes contact Tanya Souza at [email protected]

Cancellation Policy (on full amount of $2500):

If canceled 31+ days prior to the wedding date, the $1,000 deposit paid at booking is non-refundable; however, there will be no expectation of payment for the remaining balance of $1,500.

If canceled 30 days or less prior to the wedding date, the Chapel Fee of $2,500 is non-refundable.
