Welcome to Thursday MOPS! Are you ready for the MOPS adventure? As I read our theme verse (“…how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ…” Ephesians 4:18), I’m reminded of not only how much God loves each of us, but also of how He never intended for us to walk this adventure alone. He made us relational so that together we could partner through life. So that we could build each other up at exactly the moment that life took us through a valley, or perhaps just a sharp turn. God is always with us, but He places people in our life so that we can share in the experience. My greatest desire for each one of you is that you find fellow sojourners to share this roller coaster ride of motherhood. Thank you for spending your Thursday morning with us! Are you ready for the adventure? I often ask myself this very question and often times feel like I’m really not up to the challenge. I’m tired, overwhelmed, unsettled… maybe even a little scared. Life throws you curves and navigating it with your husband and children in tow can just put you in a tailspin. How appropriate that our theme for 2008 is “Adventures in Mothering.” It sounds like a blockbuster movie to me!
