WELCOME TO MOPS! MOPS is a place where you can connect, learn and belong. This year’s MOPS theme is “Together on Planet Mom.” What a fun theme and oh, how true it is… Becoming a mom can seem like landing on a foreign planet. You don’t speak the language and you’re not sure you want to! One of the reasons I love MOPS so much is because I’m surrounded by women that get me. They understand me in a way that my sweet husband just can’t. They understand what an achievement it can be to take a shower. They know the struggle of letting your baby “cry it out.” They get the joy and triumph of potty training! In essence, they know what it’s like to live on my planet… Planet Mom! This year, we will once again have great speakers, yummy food, hot coffee and lots and lots of conversation around the table. I promise that you will be challenged, encouraged and supported. You will have the opportunity to do life with other women that speak your language and who understand the highs and lows of living on Planet Mom. You’ll get to share a season of life that is quite unique from anything else you’ve ever experienced. Nothing can really prepare you for this journey through Planet Mom, but what a thrill it is to share it with friends. I hope to see you there! Many Blessings, |
