ACTIVITIES
	In the several years Velocity has existed, we’ve had quite a range of activities. For the latest on our events, you can always call our hotline at 949.854.7030 x498 or simply look below. And in the past, we’ve had nationally known Christian comedians like Nazareth and Paul Aldrich perform for Comedy Nights. At one dance, we had over 600 singles rocking out for six hours with a rock band, DJ, and a custom dance floor! 	Reoccuring Velocity Events
	Fridays Pastor Thomas Rose		As we get into the Word this Friday night, we are in the midst of a new series asking the question, Are you happy? Are you truly happy in your life?  According to a recent survey, singles are the most unhappiest life stage group! Our evening is structured as follows: A tantalizing dinner with awesome fellowship, starting at 6:45 p.m. Cost is $5 (new lower price). Tremendous worship, led by live worship bands! Time in the Word! (i.e., get fed and then get fed.) Table talk discussions to get to know yourself and each other! After Velocity, we enjoy various fun activities such as ping-pong, air hockey, table/board games, speed dating, Sock Hop dances, dance lessons, Karaoke, and other fun Get-To-Know-You activities!
	Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays Sundays at 6:30 pm Jan. 18 — Dec. 13, 2009		QUEST...a Singles Small Group Ministry Community Center, Sunday Nights QUEST...a search or pursuit made in order to find or obtain something of value What are you searching for? Where have your pursuits taken you to this point in your life? We’d like to invite you to join us on a QUEST and take your next steps to discover God’s call in your life. Who? Singles in their 20’s-30’s (Drive) 40’s-50’s (Velocity) What? A multi-track small group experience for singles When? Sunday evenings at 6:30 pm (times vary for weeknight sessions). If you want to join a group, try to arrive no later than 6:15 pm. Where? Sunday night sessions meet in Mariners Community Center, and sessions on other nights will typically meet off-campus Why? Use the blessing of community to encourage single adults to take practical steps to discover God’s call in their lives. How? Online registration is ongoing for QUEST. Co-ed groups are available, subject to the quantity of men and women registering. Tuesday and Wednesday night groups are also available, subject to the number of groups meeting on each night.
