Purpose

To provide support and assistance to adults in making meaningful transitions from successful careers to significant ministering and help them engage in fellowship activities that meet their needs.

Vision

Adults attending Mariners who are preparing to transition from full time employment are being assisted by volunteer transition coaches. They go through key steps that help them more easily and quickly transition from successful careers into significant ministering within Fellowshippers and Mariners Church. When they request transitioning assistance, they are introduced to transition coaches who have lived through the transition from full-time careers. Transition coaches listen to the concerns, hopes and dreams of those wishing to “run the good race” during the next stage of their lives. The coaches link adults to a variety of resources to help them meet their part-time work needs and significant ministering needs where their skills, experiences, gifts and interests can be engaged to serve others.
