in Jesus Christ: we are a Christ-Centered
School
We believe God became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ, conceived
by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is true God and true
man.
We believe Jesus Christ died for our sin as a substitutionary sacrifice,
and all who believe in Him are declared righteous on the basis of His
shed blood.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ, His ascension into
heaven, and His present life for us as High Priest, Intercessor and
Advocate before God the Father.
We believe the Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus
Christ. The purpose of the Church is threefold: to give God the worship
and praise He deserves; to build up every believer to spiritual maturity;
and to proclaim and demonstrate the Good News and transforming power
of Christ to all people.
We believe Christ is the head of the Church, and the local fellowship
is to be governed by elders, chosen for service on the basis of biblical
qualifications and ministries.
We believe Christ has commissioned His Church to observe the baptism
of believers and the Lord’s Supper until He returns.
We believe in the personal, bodily, and visible return of Jesus Christ
to establish His kingdom, over which He will reign in righteousness
and peace.
We believe Jesus gives His body leadership to equip us all to do the
work of ministry and He calls everyone to be models of Christ-likeness.
We are to express His love to the world by meeting human need with
true compassion wherever we find it.
in the Holy Spirit: a Spirit-Led School
We believe all who by faith receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
are born again by the Holy Spirit, who brings them into the Body of
Christ as children of God. This salvation is not a result of any human
effort or merit.
We believe all Christians still have a sinful nature, but God is in
the process of transforming them into the likeness of His Son by the
indwelling of His Spirit.
We believe in the reality and personality of Satan, who attempts to
defeat all people through deception. Believers over Satan’s schemes
by applying biblical truth in the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to each believer to
be used for building up the Body of Christ—the Church—according
to biblical guidelines and priorities.
in the Bible: we are a Bible-Based School
We believe the Bible, consisting of all 66 books of the Old and New
Testaments, are the inspired and inerrant written Word of God.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father,
the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe man was created in the image of God, but sinned and therefore
experienced physical and spiritual death (separation from God). As
a result, everyone who does not accept Christ as their savior, is
separated from God and eternally lost.
