mariners small groups

At Mariners Church we have the saying; “if we are going to be big, we better be good at being small.”  Nothing makes a Church feel more small and intimate than small groups.  What is our desire?  If you attend Mariners, you are involved in a small group.  Mariners truly wants to help every individual find connection; connection with Jesus and connection with other people.  Through authentic relationships centered around God’s word, people can find the community and growth they so truly desire.

There are all kinds of groups that meet throughout the week at different times and places, studying a variety of topics.  Let us help you take that next step you are looking for, sign up for a group today.

grouplink
TBD

GroupLink is your opportunity to get connected in a small group at Mariners Church. You’ll meet other people from the same life stage and community, then start in a small group together this fall. Groups consist of 8-12 people who meet weekly at a member’s home to pray, talk about life, and study the Bible. Small groups are for adults of all ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity.

The Answer is in the Questions

“My small group doesn’t ever seem
to get vulnerable or ‘deep.'”

The Answer is in the Questions.

This book is designed to help you take your small group members from their cares of the world to a place where they can hear God’s voice, understand the meaning of His Word and apply it directly to their lives.

venu groups

We have recently launched a new small group option called "Venu Groups." These are groups of individuals who already know each (or perhaps people who want to know each other better) and want to take their friendships to a new level through spiritual discussions. Groups can meet almost anywhere - in the neighborhood, at the local coffeehouse, at the golf club, or in your workplace.

Some examples are:
• A golfing foursome that meets each Monday before they go out for their weekly round

• A group of women business professionals meet weekly for lunch

• Men who meet each Saturday morning for an hour at their local Starbucks

• Volunteers meet for an hour before they go off to do their volunteer work

The list of possibilities is endless...
The Small Groups Resource team has some great curriculum options that are suited for these types of groups and locations. Please consider becoming a leader by getting together some of your friends, neighbors or work colleagues and starting your own Venu group.
