Values of Manna Monday:

First- Biblical Christianity is true- not just a way of life, not one more religious option or one more spiritual experience but the truth. Therefore we discuss questions and problems throughly rather than urging people to believe unconditionally. If Christianity is true it can be known and practiced without comitting intellecutal suicide or simply having to say 'just believe'

Second-Christianity shows us the way the world really is. What the Bible teaches is the way things really are. If this is true than Christianity can be rationally defended and shown to be objectively true (TRUE TRUE) not just feelings and experiences.

Third- If Christianity is true, it is relevant to all of life not just some "religious area." Thus Chrisitianity as a worldview has implications for the arts, the sciences, politics, economics, psycology etc. We seek to develop a Christian mind and biblical perspective in all areas.

Fourth- If Christianity is 'the truth' it will stand up to investigation and provide satisfactory answers and on this basis your questions will be taken seriously and addressed honestly.

Fifth- Manna Monday is not a place for "intellectuals only". God exists not only through the life of the mind but through the realtiy of changed lives and answered prayer. So while we will certainly try to make you think we understand that true spirituality is seen in lives which by grace are free to be fully human rather than in trying to live on some higher spiritual plane or in some grey negative way.
