Outreach Ministries is committed to doing ministry the way Jesus did, and having the greatest Kingdom impact possible by:

  • PROVIDING HOPE FOR AT-RISK YOUTH & FAMILIES: Standing in the gap for the poor, marginalized, and forgotten
  • MOBILIZING WORLD CHANGERS: Challenging, equipping and empowering the people of Mariners Church
  • ENGAGING IN A GLOBAL MOVEMENT: Building a network of church partners dedicated to long-term, sustainable change

  • After-school programs including weekly homework help & monthly community events

Oak View Community: In partnership with Oak View Family Resource Center & Oak View Renewal Partnership.

  • Monthly community cleanup
  • Elementary in-classroom math & reading help
  • After-school homework club at OV Library
  • Adult literacy program at OV Library

Bolsa Chica Land Trust:

  • Wetlands clean-up (1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, 9a-12p)

 

Single Moms & Dads

YoungLives: A ministry of Young Life committed to teen moms & dads in HB. Monthly clubs & special events.

Golden West College CARE Program: Designed to assist the single parent receiving public assistance. Volunteer with special holiday-related events. Donate resources.

Horizon Pregnancy Clinic: Provide information and services available to pregnant women in crisis.

Homeless

Beach Cities Interfaith Services: Providing care, compassion, food, clothing and other assistance to help people meet their daily needs and get back on their feet. Donate: clothing, canned goods, hygiene items and gift cards.

Colette’s Women’s & Children’s Home: Provides women and children with a safe home and nurturing environment where they obtain compassionate support and services needed to achieve self-sufficiency.

OC Rescue Mission

Senior Citizens

City of HB – Senior Services: Help improve the quality of life for seniors in our community, in partnership with the Rodgers Senior Center in HB. Home delivered meals, transportation, bingo and more!
