Junior high and high school students are at a significant point in their lives: determining what they believe about themselves, the world and God. And the reality is 80% of Christians make their decision to follow Christ before the age of 18.
That’s why the window from age 11 – 18 is so important. Changes in technology, media, family dynamics, and economics increase a teen’s exposure to ever-multiplying threats during this critical window.
The good news is that teens today are savvy, sophisticated, bent toward social justice, and thirsty for authentic, honest relationships, organizations and people they can believe in.
This window for influencing students opens and closes quickly. It’s a singular opportunity to
influence the life direction of individuals and the trajectory of a generation.
We can create a place where students can fill the desire for connection without fear of conditions or judgment. They can come as they are and know they are valued. They can come and meet God.
