This event is currently at capacity; however, applications for placement on a waiting list are available.  

  Friday-Sunday, September 26-28.  Break away from your everyday family life and spend a weekend away in the mountains at Forest Home. Enjoy fun activities and build wonderful memories that will strengthen and nourish your family's spiritual roots. We'll hear from Tim Smith, "The Parent Coach," and be led in worship by our very own Tim Timmons.   Click here to download a copy of the Rooted brochure.

Registration: Register at the patio kiosk in front of Port Mariners during weekends. There is no online registration for this event. A $250 deposit is required to register, and final payment is due August 1. Click here to download a PDF of the registration form. 

Space if limited - all registrations are assigned in order received and subject to lodging availability (there are three lodging options). Your registration is not guaranteed until you recieve an official confirmation email.

Tim Smith is president of Life Skills for American Families and author of over 17 books including Connecting with your Kids, The Danger of Raising Nice Kids and 52 Family Time Ideas. With a background in children's, youth and family ministry, Tim travels the country as the "Parent Coach" sharing his passion to coach families with effective life skills, dedicated to celebrating the Christian family. Tim and his wife Suzanne have two grown daughters and are now empty nesters. www.parentscoach.org

Tim Timmons is a singer/song-writer and worship leader at Mariners Church where he and his family have served for the past 10 years. With Mariners as a home-base, Tim has the privilege of traveling the country to lead worship and encourage others. He has had many of his songs published, and is involved in studio work, writing, recording, and producing music. Tim and his wife, Hilary, have been married for 10 years and have a beautiful one-year-old daughter, Malia Hope.
